Learn useful skills while working hands-on with tools.

  • The goal of our Do-It-Yourself Workshops is to teach individuals how to incorporate reclaimed materials into their home projects or further extend the life of materials already installed. These workshops often focus on creative reuse for both practical and artistic applications.

  • Activities: Past projects have included re-purposing pallets as both décor and furnishings, small garden design-build projects, bird houses, bat boxes, corn-hole boards, and many other amazing and imaginative uses for salvaged materials.

  • As a participant you will gain confidence and skill through the guided use of hand tools and power tools, as well as best practice techniques. You will have opportunities to be creative, and think outside of the box. You will achieve a greater understanding of reuse, and sustainability.

  • Requirements: Attendees must be 18 years or older, or be accompanied by an adult. Workshop participants do not need any previous construction or woodworking experience.

We thank each & every one of you for your support, time, and passion to this cause!
