The ReBuildATL Coalition is led by community-based organizations that are long-time, trusted leaders from Westside communities, in partnership with academic institutions, industry partners, and local government. The Coalition supports the resurgence of these communities by creating a circular economy that is equitable, sustainable, decarbonized and resilient.

The ReBuildATL Values Statement reflects our commitment to equity, community leadership, and reinvestment in historically marginalized neighborhoods. We work to empower residents, remove barriers, and create pathways for communities to move from surviving to thriving.

In 2025, the Coalition created a Summary Document that captures our mission, vision, values, key projects, partnerships, and collective expertise. It highlights signature projects that show how ReBuild ATL removes barriers, builds workforce capacity, expands renewable energy access, promotes construction material reuse, and advances affordable housing to strengthen communities.

Mass Collective is building a member-based makerspace at LBC that provides affordable access to tools, technologies, and expert instructors across skilled trades and the arts. Through apprenticeship, education, and membership programs, the makerspace empowers community members and trainees to gain hands-on experience, upskill in creative and construction disciplines, and explore career pathways.

By collaborating with LBC on workforce development, and community projects, Mass Collective strengthens local talent pipelines, fosters innovation, and builds a culture of creativity, skill, and opportunity while supporting LBC’s mission of sustainable building material reuse and community empowerment.

Atlanta Forest Products is establishing an on-site milling and wood processing operation at LBC that will transform construction waste, storm-felled trees, and other discarded materials into high-quality reclaimed building products. This partnership expands the capacity to keep valuable resources in circulation and out of landfills while increasing access to sustainable materials for the community.

By integrating material production with LBC’s reuse and retail efforts, Atlanta Forest Products supports workforce training, strengthens the local circular economy, and advances a shared commitment to environmental stewardship and community resilience.

Sunpath Solar

Sunpath Solar partnered with Lifecycle Building Center to design and install a rooftop solar energy system that supports the organization’s operations with clean, renewable power. This collaboration reduces environmental impact, lowers energy costs, and demonstrates how renewable energy can be integrated into existing facilities to strengthen sustainability and long-term community resilience.
